So Udo and the gang at A.A.C.s first sale today of 2020 season is in the books and it fell pretty much inline with their 7 sales of this type in 2019. Looking over “Liveauctioneer’s “ unaudited posted results out of the 278 total lots offered only approximately 64 failed to garner and bidding activity. A sold percentage of right at 77% but as with all A.A.C. auctions that generally pops up a bit with the final accurate count.
As for the sale itself there was nothing in the way of a genuine upside pops and most prices fetched at or somewhat below their pre-sale estimates . Many things sold very conservative even with their low starting points .One thing worth noting , Caucasians were moving but at very conservative levels . Still a decent beginning start for A.A.C. With hopefully better things on the horizon with their Collectors Rugs IV sale on Feb. 25th and their Fine Ant. Oriental Rug XIXX on March 21st.

A gain this is another low end sale consisting of 136 lots of mediocre items with nothing of any importance to mention but perhaps it’s the lost leader leading up to the more important and interesting sale scheduled on March 21st ?
