Not much really but the results of today’s Groganco , Boston general antique sale that featured 14 assorted rugs , carpets and flat weaves are posted live ” on the line” for your viewing pleasure . Nothing out of the ordinary though with only 2 of the 14 lots offered not selling .The piece that brought numbers at or near their pre- sale estimates nothing in the way of any upside pops at all. Just a standard better than average sale results for M.G.and staff in this quiet winter auction period .
A wise textile dealer once said if you don’t have anything relevant to write about then don’t write at all ? However staying connected is important too !
