Lot # 36 , Tekke , Salor , Turkmen mat pre-sale estimate $1-200.00 ended up selling for $16,750 plus 23% comm.

Decent condition , a scarce but not particularly popular design but very good quality. It caused quite a commotion during and after the sale with plenty more to be said with lots of opinions floating on the internet concerning the piece !
That said even under the controversial circumstances a pretty good and fresh piece , in my humble opinion !

Reports from the Santa Fe shows are starting to trickle in and the initial reports are positive with decent crowds and moderate business being conducted but it’s just the beguinning. Still a good start hoping for a strong finish !
